Description

Who We Are:


Encompasses but not limited to the rail products for NARP's primary customer segments, including Short Line and Regional Railroads, Contractors, Trackwork Manufacturers and Industrial Accounts, while managing the operational requirements for the operations.


General Purpose:


Responsible for directly calling on, selling to, and creating strategies to meet or exceed on a consistent basis, the western Canadian annual operating and rolling strategic plans for NARP.


  • Directly calling on, selling to, and creating strategies to meet/exceed the Western Canadian annual operating and rolling strategic plans for all product lines,
  • Know and track current and future projects and customers capital and maintenance plans,
  • Use this information to contribute to the strategic direction of the division.
  • Oversee the bidding and quoting processes to the western Canadian customer base.
- developing and executing key account strategies for customers with multiple offices in Canada.
- managing the regions A/R, annual operating expenses, quotation s and sales call reports.

  • Prepare, submit and manage; travel, entertainment, expense reports, sales reports, inventory reports and other duties as assigned.
  • To manage inventory including spot checks, annual inventory counts
  • To make instructed purchases to fulfill order and inventory requirements.
  • Post Secondary Degree or Certificate in Business, Marketing or relating field.
  • Knowledge of Inside Sales, Comply Works
  • Strong Computer skills

Other Requirements:


  • Overnight travel on average 12 weeks per month approximately.
  • Customer entertainment and trade how attendance are required when and where necessary.
