This is a part time position

Duties will include:

Painting, paint preparation, parts washing, masking, and general laboring.
This position would suit a person who has worked in a manufacturing environment using power tools, forklift and has a mechanical aptitude.
You will possess good communication skills, and have excellent teamwork skills along with a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

Minimum of two to five years' experience in a similar role in a shop/warehouse environment within a Paint department, preferably industrial painting.
Experience with use of pneumatic tools and must have valid forklift operator certification.
Good communications skills with a strong command of English.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

Carry out functions relating to Paint and Prep procedures.
Assist with general shop maintenance as needed.
Keep an accurate record of time charges to each job.
Full comprehension of safety requirements & material safety data sheets.

Nature and Scope:

Productive in a fast paced environment.
Good time management skills, including early mornings.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and take instruction.
Ability to work with an integrated team to achieve common goals.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production timelines.
