Company Overview:


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Assist with Accounts Receivable
  • Support the AP/Finance department by completing administrative tasks
  • Sort, log, scan and file invoices, checks and other documents
  • Implement fullcycle A/P
  • Complete month end reports and procedures
  • Assist with company vehicle acquisition and maintain the company vehicle records as well as maintain a master vehicle spreadsheet
  • Maintain all relevant internal processes
  • Review bookkeeping/accounting processes and streamline procedures
  • Actively recommend improvement and solution opportunities
  • Perform related assignments and special projects as required
  • General account administration
  • Make bank deposits
  • Data Entry
  • Assist with payroll and employee benefits
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed
  • Ensure that invoices are correctly billed
  • Prepare tax reports for correct payment to CRA for tax
  • Prepare W.S.I.B
  • Maintain a strict code of confidentiality

Experience:


  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years + experience with accounting/bookkeeping
  • Sage experience (Assetnot required)
  • Spruce experience (Assetnot required)

Benefits provided once three month probation has been completed.
