Working with the sales team, the Account Manager is responsible for the administrative management of customer files. He/she is also responsible for developing and maintaining outstanding business relationships with new and existing customers.

This position requires a dynamic, self-starter who is able to work closely with all company staff and departments, as well as with customers and suppliers.


  • Manage the current accounts of representatives on the road;
  • Add prices, validate products, analyze receipts, calculate formulas for pricing agreements;
  • Assist in the creation of P&Ls and ensure account profitability followup using tools provided;
  • Provide customer service, answer questions, handle complaints and prepare reports;
  • Based on the agreements established by the representatives, he/she is responsible for keeping prices in the computer system and updating them according to market conditions;
  • Help coordinate deliveries with suppliers and assist dispatchers with the delivery and pickup of materials, equipment and containers, with the aim of ensuring that the customer receives good service;
  • Keep abreast of competitive efforts targeting our accounts. Support representatives in creating strategies and actions to prevent account loss;
  • Coordinate with administrative staff and sales team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of all purchasing transactions;
  • Carry out special projects as required;
  • Create and track purchase orders from CRM;
  • Keep customer information up to date in our CRM;
  • Other duties may apply.

Qualifications
-
New university graduates welcome:

  • University degree or college diploma in business, sales or marketing;
  • Professional experience in sales, marketing or customer service;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills;
  • Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Some knowledge of metal alloy identification is helpful, but not required.
