Look no further than Carlson We're on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to lead our centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts at our North Vancouver location.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll be at the forefront of driving efficiency and effectiveness in our procurement processes to meet our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop procurement strategy and plans to align with business needs
- Identify costsaving opportunities and implement best practices
- Establish and enhance strategic vendor partnerships
- Negotiate strategic sourcing contracts and servicelevel agreements
- Track and manage vendor performance to ensure compliance and savings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive organizational value and efficiency
Qualifications and Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or business administration
- CPP and/or SCMP designation required
- Master of Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience preferably in the Marine, Infrastructure, Heavy Civil, and/or Industrial sectors
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, collaborative environment
