At our Head Office based in downtown Vancouver BC, the Marketing Associate is responsible for Supporting the growth of your designated business unit by helping to execute the in-year strategy.

This includes assisting with planning and innovation development efforts, coordinating with key cross functional members and helping with evaluations to ensure we are driving optimal revenue and profit growth.

Let's get into the detail


This role will:

Market Research:
Conduct research to understand target audiences, market trends, and competitors. Analyze data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.


Pricing/Profitability Analysis:
Conduct pricing analysis to hit category margin thresholds and favourable retailer margin. Evaluate channels specific promotions (For example, monthly specialty promos)


Campaign Coordination:
Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, both online and offline. This may involve coordinating with creative teams, setting up promotional materials, and assist in compiling post
- campaign performance data.


Data Analysis:

Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product launches and initiatives, and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).


Event Management:
Support events and trade shows, including logistics and coordination if needed.


Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, design, and product development, to ensure alignment with marketing objectives.


Sales Support:

Act as a point of contact for the sales team to for any marketing support they may need (sharing of finalized sell sheets, sell Stories, reviewing and submitting MRF's, coordinating the arrangements of sale samples, mock-ups and gifts baskets, coordinating coupon distributions with the help from sales support, printing and distributing marketing materials etc.).


Brand Management:
Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.


Continuous Learning:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas to marketing strategies.

Other related duties as assigned from time to time

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Minimum of 23 years experience within and a reasonable understand of CPG or retail programs is a bonus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software/tools.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing platforms and social media management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail for crafting engaging marketing content.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
