Duties:

Verifies and prepares the surface of components with protection from sandblasting
Operate equipment Sandblasting equipment
Sandblasts to SSPC specifications
Responsible for the loading and unloading of the Sandblast booth, using the overhead crane, marking of finished product and mixing of lubricants
Reports nonconformances to the plant supervisor
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the plant supervisor, including keeping the work area clean and tidy
Assists with inventory of raw materials, reports findings to the plant supervisor
Performs routine daily and monthly sandblast equipment and inspection
Supplies own tools when required
Meet job time estimates for various projects.
Inspects work in progress and upon completion for adherence to drawing specifications.
Properly and accurately log into Job boss or keys to ensure accurate data collection.
Completes all required in process inspection sheets
Reports all nonconformances to QC.
Consult with engineers and supervisors to resolve issues.
Inspects quality to ensure conformance with customer requirements
Other duties as required
