Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team.

As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting.

This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental office software OPEN DENTAL.
Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurancerelated inquiries
Collect and process patient payments
Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
Coordinate referrals to specialists as required
Manage patient flow and ensure efficient operation of the front desk area
Provide support to dental hygienists and dentists as needed

Skills:

Proven experience working at the front desk of a dental or medical office
Familiarity with dental office software OPEN DENTAL and electronic medical records systems
Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is preferred
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
