Concord Parking is looking for a Site Manager for our Vancouver International Airport Parking and Ground Transportation Operations


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the YVR Site Manager is an ON-SITE position committed to service delivery excellence and is responsible for the Supervision of all field staff working in YVR Ground Transportation, and Parking operations.

Parking and Ground Transportation operations at an airport is a primary function of the passenger experience.

These customer focused services encompass all access to and from the airport terminal via roadway, and parking to provide convenience for passengers.

Management of Parking and Ground Transportation includes various products such as short-term & long-term Parking, to traffic control of an array of ground transportation services including shuttle buses, taxis, rideshare services.

Efficient traffic flow management, customer service, signage, and monitoring of designated pickup and drop-off zones are key elements of the scope of operations to facilitate seamless transitions between ground transportation locations and the terminal.

Parking and Ground Transportation operations utilize technology-driven solutions such as parking reservation systems and real-time transportation tracking to optimize operations and improve the passenger experience.


Key Responsibilities

:


  • Oversee day to day operations, develop and maintain excellent relationships with the clients and onsite contacts in the portfolio with responsive communications.
  • Serves as a primary liaison with the Airport Authority with respect to all duties, work scope and performance of the contract.
  • Oversee the maintenance of fleet vehicles, pay stations, handheld units, printers, and other tech including troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  • Manage and oversee site staff including recruiting, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, disciplinary and performance management, and evaluations in accordance with company policies with the support of the People and Culture Department.
  • Ensure all employees are adequately trained in accordance with industry, corporate and client standards. Ensure all sites have up to date and complete standard operating procedures and other operational procedures and instructions

  • Ensure correct shift schedule and coordination of resources are in place though Enterprise Resource Planning software for payroll, ensuring accurate payroll and minimizing open shifts and overtime.

Salary

:

$65,000 - $75,000 per year


Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

:


  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, preferably in an Aviation setting.
  • Degree or Certification in Operations Management or relevant field of study.
  • A combination of experience and relevant education may be considered.
  • Valid class 5 driver's license, clear driving abstract with no more than two minor infractions and access to a vehicle that can be used for work purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership and business acumen, demonstrating out of the box and solution orientated, strategic thinking.
  • Able to problem solve effectively and be a selfstarter.
