Accuenergy is a Toronto-based company dedicated to research, design and manufacturing of multifunction power meters and other instruments. We also provide advanced technological solutions for distribution and industrial power system automation.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive R&D Department Assistant to support our dynamic Research and Development team.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and project management support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our R&D operations.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the R&D Manager in daytoday operations
  • Document Preparation and Management: Prepare and maintain R&D reports, presentations, and documentation. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all documents.
  • Record Keeping: Organize and maintain departmental records, including project files, budgets, and staff information.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in planning and execution of R&D projects, ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Monitor project timelines and budgets, and report any variances to the R&D Manager.

Departmental Liaison:
Coordinate with various departments to ensure project requirements are met and to facilitate effective interdepartmental communication.

  • Resource Management: Assist in the allocation and management of resources, including equipment and personnel, for the successful execution of R&D projects.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or computer science/engineering
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an R&D or technical environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with project management software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and problemsolving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management or coordination.
  • Knowledge of the electric power industry.
  • With computer science/engineering background
  • Prefer to have interest/experience in technical project management
