What YOU Will Do


Under the supervision of the Proposal Manager, the Document Management Technician plans, configures, implements, and manages the document management system during the proposal phase of a design-build project in accordance with contract requirements.


  • Write document management procedures for the project, including document access management and definition of document communication and approval workflows;
  • Develop a document coding and identification system;
  • Configure and implement the various components of the electronic document management software;
  • Ensure administrative compliance and manage the documents developed or received by the various teams within the framework of the project (design, construction, estimation, commercial, proposal document);
  • Provide training to users on the use of the document management system;
  • Act as a resource person for users of the document management system;
  • Register project documents in the document management system
  • Search and retrieve project documents
  • Produce transmittal slips and distribute project documents;
  • Ensure that document management processes are followed.

What YOU Will Bring

  • Training in archival science, electronic records management or other relevant certification.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in records management;
  • Experience in project document management;
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Good knowledge of current computer software (Office suite, Adobe Acrobat);
  • Knowledge of commercially available document management software; knowledge of Procore is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset;
  • Excellent English (spoken and written);
  • Autonomous and dynamic;
  • Analytical skills, ability to manage several files simultaneously, good adaptability, organizational skills and good judgment;
  • Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
