    The Franchise Leadership Center ) is an organization solely focused on the development and success of businesses operating in the franchise space. We offer a unique peer-to-peer Forum Program to help guide people operating franchised businesses to new levels of success.

    With deep roots in the franchising world, the ownership group is looking to launch our Forum Program within the Metro Vancouver region. This will then be followed by an aggressive expansion plan across Canada, and into the US markets.

    The Position:

    We're looking for an A-player "Director, Business Development", based in Vancouver, who is extremely motivated to lead all aspects of our day-to-day sales. This role will be purely focused on business development / sales within our local area for the first several months. This is a growth opportunity for the right person, with deep franchising experience, looking to utilize their skills and become an integral part of managing this organization.

    The Role Details:

    The Director, Business Development is an exceptionally talented individual who will lead the way as we launch into this new venture. You'll be coordinating all aspects of our sales and looking to build 4x local Forum Groups (12x members in each) as soon as possible. You're hungry to succeed and will do whatever it takes to make it. You're organized and self-disciplined with a willingness to take on big challenges.

    KEY DUTIES:

    • Sales and business development activities to new clients (key focus on cold outreach)
    • Building and developing key industry relationships
    • Building target prospect lists for franchise companies within Metro Vancouver
    • Networking with key industry advocates within Metro Vancouver
    • Developing and managing a pipeline of prospects to the point of getting them to join a Forum

    KEY RESULTS:

    • Consistently hit weekly sales activity targets
    • Consistently deliver a superior brand experience to everyone who interacts with the company
    • Operate business with all agreed budget line items

    REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

    • Confident, friendly 'people person' who can establish and maintain solid relationships
    • Quick thinker, fast learner and problem solver
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • 5+ years of experience in a sales role
    • An entrepreneurial mindset is a must
    • Great people skills and sales ability
    • An ability to get things done and done well
    • Experience within the franchising world
    • High tolerance for rejection and no fear of the unknown
    • Highly Organized
    • Goal Oriented
    • Experience utilizing CRMs is a must (with "Engage Bay" as a bonus)

    COMPENSATION:

    • Base annual salary of $60,000
    • Competitive commission
    • Additional tiered bonus structure for exceeding goals
    • OTE should be $100k+ in the first year
