Job Summary/Basic Function

Building a Healthy Community
The Active Living & Culture division provides over 4,000 programs and services that support the health, fitness, and leisure pursuits of residents of Kelowna.
We are currently seeking Parttime Recreation Technicians to assist in the development and delivery of various activities such as group child care, sporting leagues and tournaments, multiage recreation programming, events, volunteer management, cultural service support, community development, and recreation centre facility operations.
This is an active, communityfocused role where your creativity and experience using publishing software is an asset for creating brochures and advertising our programs. Excellent customer service skills, the ability to problemsolve, and the flexibility to work varied shifts are essential in assisting customers of all ages.
