Description

Position Summary
The position of sandblaster/painter performs various production related functions to produce company and customer required components or projects.

Follow project layouts
Complete tasks assigned
Organization/Maintenance of blast bay, paint bay and equipment.
Work from height. Climbing, crouching, and working in awkward positions.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the highest level of quality workmanship
Follow direction given by Lead Hands/Foreman
Perform all duties in the safest manner possible
Report any unsafe conditions or behaviors to management
Work at a rate that will maintain the project schedules
Know the equipment being used and maintain it as required by OHS and manufacturers recommendation
Understand the work assigned to limit rework and to be aware of the potential hazards involved

Qualifications Required

Minimum 2 years' experience in sandblasting and painting.
Ability to be a team player
Valid class 5 driver's license
