    Description

    Purpose:

    The Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC) is a revenue and margin-generating unit within the Schulich School of Business at York University.

    It is a self-sustaining unit that designs and develops offerings positioned at the high end of the market to a demanding professional clientele in executive education and provides custom solutions to organizations across the globe.

    The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing marketing plans and developing marketing assets, including social media content, paid media campaigns, emails, website content and initiatives that will promote SEEC's program offerings.

    This includes supporting the conceptualization, development, coordination, and integration of marketing plans, communications, initiatives, and special events with internal and external partners to elevate SEEC's brand and support program enrollments.

    Education:

    Experience:

    Three years of marketing experience in digital marketing. Experience in developing marketing assets such as graphics, posts, blogs, webpages, videos, whitepapers and brochures. Experience deploying marketing campaigns through promotional channels such as social media, email and website. Experience in deploying and organizing email campaign systems and lead nurturing.

    Experience in monitoring and tracking marketing performance via Google Analytics, Tag manager, Facebook, LinkedIn Analytics, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Google AdWords, Search Engine Optimization, WordPress, Salesforce.

    Hands-on experience working with web performance optimizing and popular keyword tools such as Hotjar, Ahrefs, Moz, SEMRush. Experience in working with Adobe creative suite, specifically illustrator, premier and Photoshop. Experience with Google tag manager, Google Analytics and reporting.

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    Excellent attention to detail.
    Ability to communicate effectively and relate well while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

    Ability to work independently and as a member of a team and develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

    Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to work effectively under deadlines and ability to juggle several assignments simultaneously and exercise good judgement with quick response times.

    Ability to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns and identify trends and opportunities within the user generated content space.

    Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    Demonstrated strong proficiency with WordPress and email deployment platforms (ie. Mailchimp).

    Knowledge:

    Knowledge of graphic design best practices and principles for digital projects, and strong knowledge of and experience with current digital design trends and standards, including AODA compliant design.

    Exposure to marketing automation technologies, preferably Marketo. Exposure to code snippet/ pixel generation and insertion to integrate all channels and databases to overall reporting analytics.
    Understanding of SEO, effective link building strategies and keyword techniques.
