    Description

    As an Education Business Development Partner in the Education Division at FranklinCovey, your primary responsibility is to drive business growth and promote FranklinCovey's educational products and services in a designated territory or market segment.

    Essential Job Functions

  • Create an on-going business development and brand awareness strategy for a list of target schools utilizing assets and experiences created by education marketing.
  • Research target school districts, decision makers, and influencers to create prospecting strategies.
  • Build out accounts in Salesforce (CRM) with new leads and contacts to populate touchpoint campaigns.
  • Utilize a combination of calls, emails, social media, marketing, and automated systems to contact engaged prospects.
  • Schedule exploratory meetings between potential clients and Sales Executive to move opportunities forward.
  • Update and clean CRM database
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years working in Education K-12.
  • 1+ years in a sales, marketing, or lead generation role.
  • Master's degree in education, business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce and sales automation systems such as
  • Familiarity with the industry and market dynamics relevant to FranklinCovey solutions is a plus. Understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape helps in identifying growth opportunities.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfortability interacting with prospects via phone, chat, and other methods
  • Energized by continual growth, both professionally and personally.
  • Anticipated compensation for this position is $60-63k CAD base salary plus $7k variable pay. Actual offer may be outside of this range and will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
