The Senior IT Auditor supports the Engagement Manager in the planning execution and reporting of IT and Cybersecurity audit engagements.
As a member of the Group Internal Audit team the auditors will Work across audit SOX and advisory engagements Work on process technology related areas Assigned to engagements based on their availability expertise and development needs versus geographical proximity criteria Engage with different Functional Heads Leaders and team members Assigned to varied roles responsibilities across engagements These include leading engagements managing resources delivery interacting with senior stakeholders The responsibilities include understanding engagement objectives assisting the engagement manager preparing plans testing procedures meeting review objectives Gaining detailed understanding relevant business processes systems controls Leading performance cyber risk assessments control evaluations Identification areas leveraging data analytics Performing work according to planned scope risk areas aligned budget expectations Assists tracking reporting project status milestones Adhering Corporate Audit Methodology documentation requirements Driving discussions agreements detailed findings management prior final report issuance Preparing reports memos highlighting key exposures noted issues assist overall conclusion agreed corrective actions Following timely implementation MAPs escalating if required Building good working relations key stakeholders Ensuring accurate time tracking Continuously focus self-development attending trainings seminars acquiring certifications What you need succeed What will help stand out Bachelor degree preferably Engineering technical domain CISA CISSP CISM years experience mix Big public accounting firm large international function Good IIA International Professional Practices Framework Standards Internal Risk Management methodologies COSO Experience frameworks COBIT ISO NIST established risk management experience use tools Experience Sarbanes Oxley testing industry Analytical skills thirst knowledge new experiences Ability effectively manage multiple concurrent projects meet deadlines independently team environment Good verbal written presentation High professional standards integrity ethical behavior Working Arrangements We believe hybrid forward provide flexibility possible Based role business requirements this hybrid position requiring days week our Mississauga Office Regardless arrangement we support healthy work-life balance wellbeing programs Post Closing Date Applications accepted October
