Overall Purpose of the Job:

The Supply chain Coordinator reports to the SC/Fleet manager. Primary duties for the Supply Chain Coordinator is to control the inventory quantities between the minimum and maximum levels.

It is important to communicate with all other team members daily to stay on top of the upcoming project equipment needs.

As a surge is identified the coordinator will note the inventory levels and adjust accordingly to meet the demand.

It is imperative for the coordinator to follow all procedures as outlined in the "Supply Chain Procedure Manual" to stay compliant with IntlSOS policies.

The SC coordinator and SC assistant will be a part of daily task meetings to map out the priorities of the day.

The SC coordinator will let the manager know of any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues at the time they are known.


Main Responsibilities:

Packing orders for various sites:


  • Stocking equipment for sites:

Receiving orders and stocking shelves:


  • Ensure all relevant job mobilization supplies are ready for deployment:

Coordinate purchasing and arrange shipments:


  • Liaise with remote sites to collect requisitions and needs:

Manage inventory of medical supplies, define min / max / reorder point

Key responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and lead, keeping the stock supply room clean and tidy every day.
  • Perform physical random stock counts weekly
  • Keep a weekly physical count of the large items, LP1512's, phones, sat phones, truck radios. (Review these counts with the manager if low and stock needs to be replenished)
  • Monitor inventory levels and order stock as required
  • Place orders with AIM and Mint for stock and special site orders.
  • Manage MSRC ordering system, MSRC PO system
  • Process all orders as they come in MSRC
  • Process all orders through Fish Bowl.
  • Call individuals who placed the order if any verification is needed
  • Order drivers if necessary for deliveries
  • Deliver Orders to site within the specified amount of days of receiving the order
  • Communicate to the Shipper receiver on what needs to be delivered and the date the delivery need to arrive on site.
  • Receive requests from People Services for upcoming jobs
  • Package up and label the required equipment
  • Set up the communications, Cell phone, Garmin GPS, Sat Phone, truck radio and any other forms of coms required for the site.
  • Enter the equipment into the asset register
  • Source and order ERT special requested equipment ( review with manager before ordering)
  • Keep the inventory level of BLS, ALS and IV kits at 10ea at all times.
  • Fill uniform orders as required, upload required forms into MSRC
  • Maintain uniform inventory control of the Prince George office. Regular communication with the staff there.

Required Work Experience:


  • Basic medical experience is an asset
  • Previous experience and demonstrated understanding of the logistics surrounding remote sites deployment.
  • Relevant experience in customer service.
