Lakeland Therapy Centre is a growing psychotherapy clinic , newly established in Toronto Beaches East York area. We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist, MSW, with at least 3-5+years experience in providing particularly couples and individual therapy) who wish to join us to deliver evidenced based psychotherapy in a supportive, flexible and enjoyable workplace environment.
This is a contractor position for a fully Registered Psychotherapist, Social worker to support our virtual clinic's growing demand for Couples and individual therapy.

We offer an admin team who will take care of all your admin tasks (scheduling, bulling, setting up consult calls, marketing, following up on lost clients. We're here to help you focus on what you do best.
You would join us as as an independent contractor/associate for
approx: at least 15 up to 20+ sessions a week of virtual therapy (and more should you wish).
The therapist should be able to have accreditation and work with couple relationship issues, attachment injuries, infidelity, and relational betrayal issues. If you have these skills and are warm, kind, reliable and professional, we are very excited to connect with you.

Basic Job Requirements:
Qualifications
We are looking for a therapist with the following credentials and experience:
· Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Registered Psychotherapy
· Licensure: Registered member in good standing with OCSWSSW or CRPO, MFT College,
· Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years of clinical experience, specializing in i couples therapy, relationship counseling.
· Specialized Training: Certification or advanced training in couples therapy modalities (e.g., Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Imago, etc.).
· Commitment to Professional Development: A willingness to continue engaging in clinical supervision and or professional development
Must be motivated, able to work independently and ethically sound

- Clinical Expertise: Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and applying therapeutic techniques to support couples, facing communication challenges, intimacy concerns, various relationship issues, infidelity, parenting issues, self-esteem issues, and conflict resolution. Working with individuals in a variety of therapeutic modalities.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Comfortable and skilled in working with couples from diverse cultural backgrounds and relationship dynamics.
- Strong Communicator: Demonstrates clear, thoughtful communication with clients and fosters collaboration within the team environment.
- Organized and Efficient: Able to manage time effectively and maintain a balanced caseload while providing high-quality care.
Job Expectations
· Client Hours: Provide at least between 15-20 client hours per week, or more if they wish (including at least 1-2 evening or weekend shifts)
· Insurance: Maintain personal liability insurance with coverage of at least $2 million.
· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes within the guidelines of your regulatory college body
· Scheduling: Manage your own schedule and communicate effectively with the team.
· Required Equipment: You must bring your own computer and any other necessary tools for remote work.
· Location: 2 pt office days. You must be willing to travel to our Beaches location (Queen and Woodbine) for 2 pt shifts, be currently living and practicing in Ontario and licensed to practice the controlled act of Social Work or Marriage Counseling or Registered Psychotherapy in the province. You must live within the reasonable travel distance to the clinic (Beaches are of Toronto)
- Family and or Individual therapy experience with different populations or treatment modalities would be an asset
