Product Design Manager

What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Product Design Manager within our Corpay division.

This position falls under our Corpay Cross Border line of business and is located in 212 King Street West, Toronto ON.

The salary range rate for this position is $130,000 to $135,000 CAD.
How We Work
As a Product Design Manager, you will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment.

Role Responsibilities


The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Be a leader of the design team, mentoring the designers, setting them up for success, building framework of best practices and be an advocate of design across the organization.
  • Work with product and engineering to define/ refine the product design process. Own the process.
  • Help create a user testing and user research process in a B2B enterprise setting.
  • Consistently research usability studies and design trends to Identify the product's existing UX and UI problems and help fix them in an agile fashion
  • Clearly communicate design solutions to our multifunctional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Empathize with the development process and rapidly iterate designs based on potential technical limitations.
  • Validate UX/ UI using available research methods and testing strategies.
Qualifications & Skills

  • 23 years of experience leading a design team. 56 years of experience in the industry helping build great products
  • Management and leadership experience leading a small design team
  • Experience preferably in an enterprise SaaS setting
  • Prior experience building successful design processes that scaled across multiple teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of modern software foundation and frameworks, with the ability to determine what is possible/feasible in development.
  • Conceptual thinking skills and strengths in executing visual and interaction design.
  • Ability to breakdown and prioritize requirements to design interfaces that meet both users and business needs.
  • Strong command of interaction design, visual design and information architecture with a mind for simplicity of design
  • We use Invision, Adobe XD, Sketch and Zeplin so knowledge of some or all of these is good.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates highquality design work that also tells a story that you are a deep design thinker.
