Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Field Services Coordinator to join our Transportation and Infrastructure team.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provides technical support to construction activities at the worksites.
Studies drawings and specifications issued to the field and reports to Construction Manager ambiguities, interferences or errors found on drawings, specifications and assigned work.
Coordinating project documentation, which includes meeting minutes, job opening form, change orders / site instructions, owner's instructions, shop drawings and drawing log, progress claims, and field notices.
Assisting the project team by taking initiatives to minimize and complete tasks and ensure accurate document control practices and procedures are followed.
Support project teams through communication, coordination, and followup with trades and stakeholders.
Ensures QA/QC with applicable codes, manufacturer's instructions, vendor drawings and installation procedures required for fieldwork.
Enthusiastic, passionate, patient and should be a critical thinker.
Should possess good logical skills and ability to prioritize tasks depending upon the emergency situations.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Ability to work in Microsoft Office Tools, MS Project
Team Player, excellent verbal and written communication skills
Leadership and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work under tight schedule
Ability to understand contract fundamentals, OPSS, CSA, Metrolinx, MTO and other applicable standards
Have valid Ontario driver's "G" license and access to a personal vehicle for travel

Education and Experience

A minimum of bachelor's degree in civil engineering
EIT designation is an asset
Experience in Construction Inspection, Supervision, Quality Control &Assurance
Experience in the field of Transportation, Structural & Geotechnical Engineering will be an asset
