    Job title: Cost Accountant

    Description

    We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to support plant operations and finance leadership through cost analysis, inventory oversight, and standard costing activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and administer cost accounting systems
    • Prepare detailed cost analysis including: product costing, production variances, labour and spending analysis
    • Analyze manufacturing KPI variances versus standard

    Budgeting & Forecasting

    • Assist with development of annual budgets and forecasts (focus on standard costing)

    Closing Process Support

    - Costing module activities in SAP
    - Journal entries
    - G/L reconciliations
    - Inventory reporting performed by providing financial support for initiatives designed to reduce costs we will provide administrative assistance as needed. This role will support both Collingwood operates plani plants.
