As a Telecom Design Coordinator, you will..._
- _Actively seek and expand the current workload of Telecommunications companies throughout Ontario;_
- _Lead a variety of projects for a multitude of clients with varying degrees of design and other requirements;_
- _Assist the team with coaching and development of resources to ensure quality and drawing and design standards meets both the customer requirements as well as the local authority requirements;_
- _Attend site meetings with customers or third parties. Attend authority conducted utility coordination sessions and meetings as required;_
- _Liaison with Municipal/Hydro/Other approving authorities for securing requirements and approvals to obtain entry for various Planview Utility Services Ltd customers to construct plant or infrastructure within the jurisdiction of said authority;_
- _Assign tasks, budgets and provide support to internal resources for completion of designs. Manage and track budgetary and financial information and provide reports as requested to the division manager;_
- _Review and implement quality control processes or documentation from resources to adhere to Planview Utility Services Ltd and third-party design requirements and standards;_
- _Responsible for ensuring key dates and benchmarks are met by internal and external resources to maintain critical project schedules and project completion deadlines for customers;_
- _Responsible for maintaining overall project budgets, other costs and invoicing for multiple projects;_
- _The ongoing development of Planview USL's CAD processes, design standards and methodologies to further develop design and operational efficiencies;_
- _Other activities as required._

Specific Requirements of the position...._
- _Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills;_
- _Minimum 2+ years experience in a telecommunication / utility design or other civil role. Minimum 1 year leading projects directly, with responsibility for budget, completion timeframe and quality / technical requirements;_
- _Working knowledge of Fiber optic systems as it relates to architecture, fiber to the home and service drops to residential and business clients;_
- _Excellent written and oral communication skills;_
- _The ability to deal with multiple projects and conflicting deadlines_
- _Ability to read and interpret engineering work plans_
- _Proficient in working in AutoCAD environment;_
- _Must have a personal vehicle, valid Ontario driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the province;_
- _C.E.T or E.I.T designation considered an asset;_
- _Familiar with industry codes, engineering practices, standards, and construction methods;_
- _Knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity software._
