Role and Responsibilities:
- Establish, develop, and manage all accounts in the assigned territory. Be an established first choice partner with end users, engineers, contractors and OEMs
- Cold call and prospect for new accounts, while managing and growing existing book of business
- Motivate, educate and close business in group situations such as OEM seminars, and customer training events
- Manage territory through proactive sales calls mapping and scheduling
- Provide troubleshooting expertise of Instrumentation and process control products
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have completed postsecondary education, bachelors degree preferred
- Previous technical selling experience is highly preferred must have previous sales experience with solution selling skills
- Exceptional hands on knowledge of MS office, Social Media, Customer Sales Reporting systems.
- Experience in the process and instrumentation industry is a plus
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to convey value to plant operations personnel, engineers and maintenance leadership as well as in a boardroom
- Ability to build and foster impactful relationships with customers
- A valid driver's license and ability to furnish proof of eligibility to work in Canada
