GLASS + ALUMINUM INC. is seeking an incumbent for a full-time position to support our growing business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager the Shipper / Receiver supports the logistics team receiving materials and shipping components to the job site to support the team building windows curtainwalls, storefronts, window walls, punched/fixed windows, entry systems, automatic doors/operators, interior glazing, glass balustrades, custom residential showers, specialty and custom jobs.

Duties
- comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Health and Safety Policies
- responsible for loading and unloading shipments and deliviers
- track and verify receipts of shipments as required
- perform quality audits for all shipped goods and incoming materials
- problem solves discrepancies as required

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- ability to work in a production environment
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- experience working in a warehouse environment

Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
Basic working knowledge and experience using MS office (word and excel)
