Must Have:
Canadian CPA or State Certified Public Accountant designation (US CPA) AND IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) designation | 4 years US Tax experience with a mid-sized or large CPA firm

responsible for working on a variety of US cross-border tax files and tax planning engagements, assisting clients, providing research and technical support, identifying and handling issues on files, and supporting the marketing initiatives of the practice.

The individual also supervises and trains tax staff. This position requires a solid US individual and/or corporate tax background

Manage multiple US tax compliance engagements for ownermanaged businesses and their stakeholders including budgeting, scheduling, and invoicing.
Review complex US personal and corporate tax returns.
Help maintain practice docket and project workflows.
Able to proactively 'issue spot' technical issues and propose solutions.
Draft correspondence for both internal use and clients.
Stay current and able to advise firm and clients on relevant tax law developments.
Prepare and present professional development seminars.
Coach and mentor staff.
Market Fuller Landau to future clients.
4+ years stable US tax experience serving ownermanaged clients with a mid or large sized CPA firm.
State Certified Public Accountant designation or CPA CA and IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
Academic excellence including completion of universitylevel US tax coursework.
Detail orientated, well organized and able to prioritize demands, workflow, and meeting deadlines.
Effective written and oral English communication skills.
US federal, state, and cross border tax research experience.
Proven ability to lead engagements and people.
