You have in-depth mastery of one technical process and maintains that process using progressive maintenance standards, troubleshooting on multiple processes and issues when necessary.

You also lead at least one standard work process for your team.

How you will contribute

You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them.

You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.

Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and the advanced skills to maintain equipment at basic conditions, including AM and progressive maintenance (e.g., breakdown maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
Phase 2 tools including AM Step 4, working principle, general inspection, focused improvement 12 steps, and quality management Steps 3
Leading a standard work process using a plandocheckadjust approach

Key job requirements

:

Mix and weigh flavours and ingredients in accordance with formulae and production schedules or as directed by the team leader. Proper care is required to ensure accuracy in all activities, especially those dealing with proprietary products.
Strong math conversion abilities are required.
Lift and carry flavour weighing 20 kg; use automatic barrel dumper to dump 750 kg
Responsible to ensure that all ingredients used are correctly approved and identified, and are of normal quality and devoid of contamination detectable by casual inspection.
Responsible for properly identifying finished flavour and colour formulations by marking batch numbers and descriptions correctly and legibly on the flavour containers.
Must be familiar with reading scales, both in Metric and Avoirdupois, as well as being able to operate mixers and weighers.
Deliver flavours etc. to Production Departments, as required.
Clean flavour bottles, utensils and equipment as required.
Must be flexible within the Flavour Lab and capable of performing all functions.
Required to operate steam jacketed kettles with electric mixers.
Maintain order and cleanliness of work area.
Mix, weigh and subdivide flavour for Boiled Candy according to formulae.
Check inventory and order ingredients when needed.
Observe all safety rules, practices and procedures in performance of duties.
Perform all other duties as directed.
