JOB OVERVIEW:

The Restaurant Manager 's focus will be to provide a unique dining experience for our guests and a safe, well managed workplace for our team members to grow.

The Restaurant Manager will organize and execute all aspects of the business relating to the operation of The Bruce Craft house and will be the go-to person for all essential job functions.

In this role you will work a flexible schedule that will be driven by the business on the books.


Reports to:
Director, Food & Beverage


Essential Job Functions:

1) Maintaining a culture of service-orientate professionals where positivity and creativity are encouraged.

2) Oversee the logistics of special events, attend BEO and operations meetings

3) Co-ordinate with other teams to ensure all pertinent details are communicated and concerns are cared for both pre and post special events.

4) Ensure adequate supply of materials and equipment by the implementation of sound ordering procedures.

5) Enforce company policy and procedures

6) Communicate hiring needs and work along side HR to ensure the department is staffed appropriately.

7) Support the overall development of an employee-Orientated company culture.

8) Act fairly and honestly in all dealings with suppliers, guests and team members, treat all with dignity and respect.

9) Other duties as assigned


Essential Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrate competence in technical areas of inventory, F&B costs, asset control, scheduling, payroll and labour management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking skills and be able to manage multiple projects successfully
  • Foster a climate of continuous learning, growth and improvement, with a strong commitment to the development of others
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a similar position within a fastpaced restaurant or a Bachelor degree or diploma in hotel and restaurant management or related (preferred),
  • This is primarily a physical role, must have the ability to climb, stand extended periods of time, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 45lbs
