Job Summary
The Warehouse Technician will play a key role in ensuring that adequate warehouse services are provided to the Fort Site operations.
This position will involve a variety of duties ranging from the delivery of materials, receiving of materials, front counter and other general duties.
This position will be based out of our Fort Saskatchewan plant site.Accountabilities
- Support inventory and warehouse management.
- Receive stock and nonstock supplies against POs (receive in system, check and assign part number, tag, stock on shelf).
- Issue required stock items and process them in system.
- Process and maintain records of all activities pertaining to the inventory and warehousing.
- Periodical inventory cycle count and adjustment of inventory items.
- Maintain general housekeeping of warehouse area.
- Maintain relations with client and coworkers through effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- 35 years' warehouse experience with computerized inventory systems
- Material/Parts Technician Certificate
- Valid Class 3 Drivers License
- Forklift certification
- Proficient computer skills (Excel and Word)
- Ability to work regular/periodic shift work
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Technical/mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
