What we are looking for:

Your responsibilities:
Key functions for the IFI Team include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Help drive new sales and client retention effectively.
  • Take a leadership role on all client servicerelated activities in close collaboration with the various Institutional Portfolio Managers members of the Distribution team. Contribute to client retention effort with improving client service effort.
  • Help explain investment strategies while keeping an eye on industry trends and potential implications for our service offering.
  • Collaborate daily with other Fiera Capital teams to educate, inform, clarify, and coordinate business development and customer service efforts.
  • With the collaboration of the RFP team, oversee the RFP process and client communications from a team perspective, including database management and preliminary answers, minimizing Portfolio Manager involvements. Coordinate and administer consultant and client questionnaires and requests sent to the team.
  • Responsible for the update and management of strategiesrelated materials.
  • Produce, update, and monitor all tools, documents, and databases essential to the smooth operation of the IFI team's business development and customer service activities.
Key functions for both the IFI Team and FIS include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Engage in client and consultant communications and meetings, in collaboration with Distribution and Portfolio Managers;
  • Help drive and coordinate consultant meetings, in collaboration with the distribution and team members;
  • Support development plan codeveloped with team members. Collaborate with other groups within the organisation to achieve development objectives;
  • Contribute to the creation process of thought pieces (i.e., research strategy, white papers, webinars);
  • Grow ability to represent independently the key strategies of the teams in various stages of external engagements, with clients and consultants. Help to coordinate roadshow logistics.
Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • 3 to 5+ years of recent, relevant experience in a portfolio specialist, client portfolio manager, investment strategist or similar role; prior portfolio management or investment analyst experience in Fixed Income is ideal.
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree, especially MBA or MS in Finance or Investments preferred.
  • CFA Charter holder is strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of the characteristics associated with fixedincome securities/portfolios and their impact in different potential economic environments.
  • Familiarity and understanding of institutional asset management industry functioning is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to credibly articulate the process, value, and fit of the Fiera strategies across multiple distribution channels and audiences of varying levels of investment sophistication.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, teamoriented culture.
  • Exceptional problem solving, organization and time management skills.
  • Communication skills for both verbal and written form using various platforms of communication is essential to the role.
  • High sense of urgency and degree of initiative and selfmotivation
  • Resultsorientation with a high degree of professional and corporate responsibility
  • Registration at security commissions in Canada is an asset.
