What you will be doing

Finance

  • Provide general accounting support
  • Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects
  • Support with invoice generation and bookkeeping support
  • Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
  • Assist in Accounts receivable follow up

HR

  • Assist in coordination throughout recruitment process
  • Provide support for payroll and benefits administration
  • Work with HR team to carry out internal culture events
  • Actively improving employee experience
  • Assist the HR Manager in ad hoc tasks

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled student) in an HR/Finance Program or equivalent work experience
  • Understands and can utilize emerging platforms for purposes of recruitment (eg. LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Working Knowledge of HR Policies and how to implement them in growing teams
  • Strong Excel modelling and Powerpoint skills
  • Experience with accounting software (sage)
