You as an Infrastructure (IT) Manager, Managed Services, will:

Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environment (VMware,Commvault,Windows,Blades,SANs)
Follow defined procedures to monitor systems and resolve problems
Defines improvements increased system reliability and performance
Participate in short

- and long-term project efforts with stakeholders and IT groups

Perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes
Work with Engineers, Vendors, and Architects when issues appear systemic or cannot be resolved
Develop new alerts and monitoring techniques based on engineering requirements
Develop scripted solutions and automation.
Ensure documentation is developed and maintained
Managing IT staff by overseeing, recruiting, and training employees
Analyzing the IT budget and maintaining costeffectiveness
Troubleshooting problems and increasing overall efficiency
Developing data backup systems and disaster recovery contingencies
Staying uptodate with new IT developments in the industry

Is this role right for you?

Minimum of 5 years of previous related experience required.
Expertise with Network, Virtualization, Storage administration
Cisco and/or Moxa experience is an asset
LRT Transit experience is an asset
2year diploma or degree an IT related program
Certified in Cisco or Microsoft or VMware
Must be available for oncall
5 days on site
