Description

As our new Maintenance Worker, you will provide corrective and preventative maintenance on both the building and its equipment, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

In order to qualify for this role you must have a minimum of - 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.

This is currently a part-time position with possibilities of becoming full-time based on needs

Summary of Duties:

Reporting to Operations, carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance program to ensure the safe, continuous, and efficient operation of both equipment and building.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and framing, normally acquired by a combination of education and relevant work experience.
Must be able to work with a mínimal amount of supervision and be able to perform maintenance and repairs to an acceptable standard.
Extensive handyperson experience would be considered an asset.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Health and Safety Act, Building Code, and other applicable regulations as it relates to the position.

Minimum Requirements:

years experience with one or more of the following: rough or finish carpentry, wood finishing, painting, drywall, plumbing, lighting maintenance, floor and tile.

Valid driver's license.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working at elevation.
Performs electrical, plumbing, and gas repairs and troubleshooting as it pertains to the building and its equipment.
Repairs to all building indoor/outdoor lighting, and cameras.
Works in accordance with the provisions of applicable Health and Safety legislation and all Davidson Environmental company policies and procedures related to Occupational Health and Safety.
Performs other duties as assigned which are directly related to the major responsibilities of the job.
Millwright experience an asset.
