Position:
Journeyperson Pipefitter

Project Type:
Plant & Facility Maintenance

Rotation:
This is a permanent 5 on - 2 off rotation

Location:
South of Grande Prairie

Key Responsibilities:

Perform plant and facility maintenance as per customer requirements and WGL guidelines
Operate a variety of industrial facilities equipment and hand tools
Work in both elevated and confined spaces including: vessels, tanks, platforms and towers
Measure, cut, curve, gather and install piping, valves and fittings
Use testing equipment to check for leaks and perform QA/QC checks
Perform general duties as assigned
Complete daily field tickets, field level hazard assessments and other documentation as required by the customer and WGL
Comply with customer and WGL safety program, including safe work practices and procedures

Qualifications:

Red Seal, Journeyperson Pipefitter with minimum 2 years facility maintenance experience
Minimum 5 yrs experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Proficient in basic English language, reading and writing skills
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
required:
Valid CSO
Valid H2S Alive
Valid Standard First Aid with BC Jurisdiction
Must be a resident of Grande Prairie area, no LOA paid for this position

Subcontractor rates available (must be willing to operate Weaver unit).
