Apex Valve Services (a division of Apex Distribution Inc.) is currently seeking a Shop Hand for our Fort Saint John facility.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an aptitude in mechanical skills dedicated to meeting our client's requirements in this busy location.

Our valve service facility has consistently experienced an active marketplace and has a strong track record of success. We are a major player in the Canadian valve service market and pride ourselves as customer orientated. Duties will include but are not limited to: (training provided)

Assist with service and repair work of equipment
Perform shop maintenance and clean up
Help in receiving, inspecting, disassembling, repairing, reconditioning, reassembling, valves as well as various other shop duties related to the business as assigned by supervisor.
Keeping equipment and work stations clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on service equipment.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions and be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands
A strong work ethic and positive team attitude required

Apex Valve Services is a full service valve repair company providing our clients with a diversified range of repair, maintenance & modifications including, PM programs, repair/replacement analysis for API, ANSI, and PSV valves with 9 locations throughout British Columbia, Alberta & Saskatchewan.

Salary:
$20.00-$26.00 per hour
