    Mission

    The Project Manager, Surveying and Special Surveys is responsible for the planning, execution and control of major and special survey projects, with an emphasis on reality capture, 3D scanning, mobile mapping and drone surveys. This person will play a key role in managing project integration, scope, schedule, cost and quality.

    Primary Responsibilities

    1. Integration management :
      • Understand needs, propose solutions to customers - develop the project charter in collaboration with the team-.
      • Develop and implement the project management plan, including decisions to be made or not to be made
      • Manage project execution and ensure effective dissemination of knowledge within the team
      • Control the project and manage changes in accordance with defined requirements
      • Ensure project closure by managing invoicing, documentation and archiving
    2. Scope management :
      • Plan and coordinate project scope management
      • Gather project requirements and clearly define scope
      • Create the project breakdown structure using group management tools
      • Validate and control the scope of the project during communication meetings with the customer
    3. Schedule management :
      • Plan schedule management by defining project activities and milestones
      • Sequence activities and estimate effort and timing
      • Develop consolidated project schedule
      • Regularly monitor schedules to ensure deadlines are met
    4. Cost management :
      • Plan and estimate project costs
      • Validate costs for data capture and modeling with key stakeholders
      • Determine the overall project budget and monitor expenditure against it
    5. Quality management :
      • Plan quality management to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements
      • Produce quality control reports
    Qualifications
    • Degree in geomatics, geomatics engineering or related field
    • Land surveyor's license or eligibility for license
    • Demonstrated experience in managing survey projects, with particular expertise in reality capture, 3D scanning, mobile mapping and drone surveys
    • In-depth knowledge of project management tools and geospatial survey software
    • Ability to effectively plan, organize and coordinate project activities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and team members
