The Sweet North Bakery is looking to hire full time and part time bakers to work at our Court Street bakery and our Production Bakery

• Must be comfortable in a fastpaced environment, have a great attitude and be a team player.
• Must have previous professional baking experience.
• Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Able to stand and exert wellpaced mobility for 810 hours at a time.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work week day, evenings and weekend shifts
• Hands on approach; not a sedentary job
• Prep all bakery items according to The Sweet North Bakery recipes and standard of quality.
• Multitask while keeping clean, safe and organized.
• Follow all bakery tools (checklists, prep charts and cleaning lists)
• Follow all health code regulations.
• Run ovens, mixers and other bakery machinery.
• Manage and actively help to keep refrigerators, dry storage and freezer organized and clean.
• Maintain a sanitary bakeshop that meets food safety standards.
• Reliable references and proven work history
• Results oriented

Immediate start date
Must have safe food handling
Wage is $17-$18/hr plus tips
Benefits package for full time employees after 3 month probationary period

We have openings for part time and full time positions.
