Description
Reporting to the Operations Team Lead, you will be making quick decisions while building a network to service our client's accounts; making sure operations going well.
Responsible for daily operational tasks to ensure the smooth processing of customer orders, deliveries, invoices, and execution of further documents and incidents (complaints, returns, credits, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Source and procure carrier services to ensure timely pickup and delivery of customer freight.
- Monitor service providers to ensure that company and customer service requirements are being met.
- Identify service and cost improvement opportunities and synergies, such as dedicated operations and continuous movement.
- Work with clients on shipments, receivables, receipts of goods, reserves, and claims
- Work to manage the customer database; load orders; invoices; picking/unpacking of goods; registration of shipping documents; control of accounts receivable; returns; statement of goods for managers and for events; maintaining a register of writeoffs of goods; establishment of a price list and maintenance of discounts for distributor; maintenance of prices/conditions and customer master data
- Monitor the level of service and delivery times, proposing possible solutions for improvement in order to reach the company's targets
- Interact with transport companies
Requirements:
- Experience within logistics
- Quick learner who is successful at multitasking
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Fluency English (French assist)
