    Job Opportunity:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Team Medicine Assistant. This role is ideal for those who have experience in client education, preventive medicine, and animal care.



    Responsibilities:


    • The Team Medicine Assistant will work closely with General Practice Veterinarians in all aspects related to patient care. This includes acquiring detailed medical histories and educating clients on various preventive diseases, routine care, and dietary options.

    • Follow-up phone calls to assess patients' recovery from surgery, illness, dietary changes, or medication tolerances are critical responsibilities of the Team Medicine Assistant.

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing the flow of the day, responding to client inquiries, and keeping track of pending and completed laboratory tests.


    Qualifications:


    • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (reading, writing, oral).

    • Able to support patients up to 50kg while maintaining a safe working environment.


    The preferred qualifications include fluently bilingual language skills in French and English as well as previous experience in client service roles.
    The key qualities we look for include excellent time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously;
    good interpersonal problem-solving teamwork initiative judgment decision-making positive attitude courtesy diplomacy discretion professional ethics confidentiality.
