Senior Security Architect to conduct cyber risk assessments on new and existing technical solutions to identify security risks and control gaps for a crown corporation client

Our valued crown corporation client is seeking a Senior Security Architect to conduct cyber risk assessments on new and existing technical solutions to identify security risks and control gaps for a crown corporation client

1-year contract opportunity in Ottawa, ON (100% Remote)

Responsibilities:

Develop and update security policies, standards, requirements, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices.
Assist in conducting cyber risk assessments on new and existing technical solutions to identify security risks and control gaps.
Develop and provide guidance on repeatable security solutions (i.e., patterns).
Collaborate with security and technical teams to ensure security requirements and risks, including potential mitigations, are understood.
Participate in various informational sessions as needed.

Must-Have-Skills:

5+ years' experience inCyber Security and developing security solutions architecture
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM
Demonstrated experience with risk management and security assessment methodologies/frameworks (e.g. NIST 800-53 , NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
Experiencein the development andapplicationof security policies and security technical standards
Demonstrated knowledge of application security (secure SDLC)
Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations (on Azure )
