Network Administrator

Mississauga, ON

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
  • Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Provide problemsolving services to network users
  • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade Webserver hardware and software
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
  • Perform Webserver backup and recovery operations

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO OUR TEAM:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma with a focus in computer science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingual: Advanced French & fluent English oral and written communication (required)
  • Strong knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10+ and MS Office Suite (including Office 365).

Salary:
$28.85 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Experience:


  • Computer networking: 2 years (preferred)
