Full Time Billing Support Clerk - Newmarket, Canada - Olameter Corporation
Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Review, analyze and accurately resolve metering and billing exceptions per Utility requirements
- Accessing multiply Utility systems to assist with resolving exceptions
- Resolve meter access issues, including scheduling appointments with Utility customers
- Assign field work orders to obtain meter reads and/or to schedule inspections with Utility customers
- Responsible for billing accuracy and meeting Utility deadlines
- Identifying and suggesting process improvements
- Outbound calling to Utility and Utility customers
- Other clerical duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or higher
- Working knowledge of Customer Information and Billing Systems (an asset)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the capacity to develop and implement appropriate solutions
- Data analysis and arithmetic skills
- Have computer knowledge, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel and Word
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Be a highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both internal and external clients
