Reporting to the Vice-President, the Major Accounts Director is responsible for developing a strategy to increase market share in major accounts across Canada.

The incumbent prepares a detailed plan to identify, approach and close potential major accounts.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and negotiating new agreements with major customers. Lead and ensure sales development of new programs with the collaboration of regional sales managers. Ensure maximum development and maintenance of agreements with major accounts at national and regional level, by promoting the benefits offered to participating customers. Organise and take part in meetings with customers to promote our agreements and business programs.
  • Verify and ensure with managers the followup of customer visits by sales representatives and shop managers and/or associates.
  • Establish business relations with the managers of major national and regional account customers.
  • Act as a dedicated contact for some of the largest major accounts in Canada with exceptionally high purchasing potential and scale. Develop and make presentations on business agreements and various programs to clients as well as to major account clients and UAP Inc. managers and sales teams.

Qualifications
To join our team, you must have, among other things

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in business development and/or account management, preferably in a dealer, member, retailer or wholesaler environment in the truck and trailer, automotive or related sectors.
  • You must have a proven track record working in a complex sales environment and be involved in key account management decision making.
  • You must be bilingual in French and English as you will be working with clients across Canada.
