We are now looking to grow our
Finance team at our Montreal office.


In close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, the
Head of Finance will contribute to the formulation and execution of the group's overall financial strategy.

The
Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing and leading all financial activities of the group, with a focus on operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic growth.


As a Head of Finance, you will:


  • Financial Management: Supervise all financial operations of the group, including accounting, budgeting, tax planning, cash management, and financial risk management.

Financial Reporting:Prepare and present periodic financial reports to senior executives and other internal stakeholders, providing in-depth analysis of the group's financial performance.

Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop short and long-term financial forecasts, aligning financial goals with the group's overall strategy. Actively participate in the annual budgeting process.

Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, manage cash flows, and implement strategies to optimize fund utilization.

Financial Strategy: Collaborate with companies leaders to develop and implement a financial strategy aligned with business objectives, including growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Financing Rounds: If applicable, lead fundraising efforts, working with investors and ensuring the group has the necessary resources to achieve its goals.

Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with all tax, legal, and regulatory obligations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations.

Team Leadership: Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering a collaborative, professional, and results-oriented work environment.

Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with other departments to understand their financial needs, provide advice and analysis, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Internal and External Communication: Maintain effective relationships with external financial partners such as banks, auditors, and investors. Internally, communicate transparently with various teams and executives.

Risk Management:Identify, assess, and mitigate potential financial risks to ensure the financial stability of the group.


Requirements:

Experience: At least 8 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with a solid understanding of complex financial operations.

Title: Hold the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification.

Annual Financing Rounds: Lead and actively participate in annual financing rounds by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Bilingualism:Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory to ensure smooth communication within the company and with international partners.

Interpersonal Skills: Maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.

Multi-Entity Experience: Demonstrate successful experience in financial management of companies with multiple subsidiaries or divisions.

Industry Expertise: Previous experience in the Marketing, Advertising, and Gaming agency industry would be a significant asset.

Salary:
$93,409.90-$166,249.34 per year
