JOB OVERVIEW

OUR PEOPLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and processes
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in accordance with appropriate codes (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code)
Attention to detail and keeps proper documentation of work completed
Motivated selfstarter, ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion with mínimal supervision
Good interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player
Knowledge in automation communication standards and how to troubleshoot common faults

REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

4th or 5th term registered apprentice working towards interprovincial red seal trade license as a Construction Maintenance Electrician (309A)
Understanding of electrical and automation systems, custom machinery, etc.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Valid G class driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Selfdisciplined and accountable
The team member will possess a willingness to listen, learn, and ask questions to enhance their applied knowledge within the automation industry
