Job Summary:

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our
Food Service Supervisor, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

Lead a team to provide optimum customer service and comply with quality standards
Monitor and evaluate meal preparation and service to ensure established standards are maintained for both quality and quantity of all meals and snacks
Train our associates in customer service/engagement with residents
Administer and measure customer service feedback and provide updates to the team
Complete regular operational food service audits in unit; prepare corrective action plans and distribute to stakeholders
Backfill for a Food Service Manager on leave (sick, bereavement, vacation or emergency leave)
Perform clinical work in PCC (PointClickCare) as required
Work collaboratively with unit team as well as the dietitian
Reinforce a strong safety culture and make recommendations for corrective action related to safety contraventions, whether food or occupational
Recommend any training or retraining requirements for both hourly and management staff
Maintain resident profile records

Here's how we'll know you'll be successful in the role:

Certified Nutrition Manager from the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)
At least 3 years' experience with institutional feeding or large scale dining within long term care
Demonstrated leadership abilities and past experience leading a team of more than 5 direct reports
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Solid verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills
Proven relationship building and interpersonal skills
Confident and comfortable meeting new clients, residents and others with a sincere interest to work in Senior Living
