Full time, Permanent employment. Morning, Evening, Day, Shift, Weekend, Flexible hours
Salary:
CAD$16.00 per hour
Working hours will 40 hours/week, and 52 weeks of work per year.
Hiring 1 vacancy Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Helping cooks prepare for meals by washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients;
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units;
- Assist in basic food preparation and prepare, heat and finish simple food items;
- Prepare the chef to sharpen the knives;
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash;
- Packing takeout orders for customers and package takeout food, Portion and wrap foods;
- Washing, drying, and putting away all dishes and kitchen utensils;
- Mopping and sweeping the kitchen;
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces,cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment;
- Keep records of the quantities of food used.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school;
- Experience an asset
