    ACTG 4P40 Tax Strategies for Planning and Decision Making - Online

    Compensation

    Instructors have a nominal workload of hours per half credit course.

    Effective September 1, - $7,.48 per half course ( hours nominally)
    Effective September 1, - $14,.95 per full course ( hours nominally)

    Please note: Instructors who are employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent of a 2-hour/week lecture, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

    Duties

    Duties as per Collective Agreement, Article 22. Specific duties such as: develop course outline; prepare and deliver scholarly lectures; create/administer any assignments, tests and final exam etc. in line with usual University and departmental practice; schedule and maintain student contact time/hours; be responsible for grading of student assignments; in coordination with Chair manage disciplinary, academic integrity for the course which may include grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.

    Qualifications

    1. Minimum of a Master's Degree in Accounting or Business related discipline

    2. Current CPA Designation is desirable

    3. Experience in teaching Tax courses

    4. Prior teaching and/or research experience in the study of Accounting

    5. Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations)
