    This role is based at our Tumbler Ridge office, and successful candidates will be expected to relocate to the area in order to support our on-site operations team.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Administer and optimize Conuma's OT systems, focusing on Wenco FMS and CAT Terrain for Drilling, ensuring their smooth and reliable operation.

    Spearhead the integration, support, and procurement of additional OT systems, enhancing operational efficiency.
    Deliver robust operational support for engineering applications, real-time applications, and underlying technical infrastructure.

    Provide expert second-level technical support to local mines, acting as a pivotal figure in the OT system support hierarchy, and liaise with vendor support teams for complex issue resolution.

    Foster collaborative relationships with Dispatchers, the IT Server Team, Networking Team, and on-site electricians, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of support requests.

    Assume a Subject Matter Expert role in the integration of equipment data into the EAM system, driving improvement projects for Maintenance Processes and Operations.

    Oversee and ensure the completion of mobile equipment hardware support needs, collaborating with in-field electricians and maintenance teams.
    Monitor and manage Mesh network communication and onboard radios on equipment in the Mine Pits.

    Develop, maintain, and support custom database-driven reports to drive operational improvements using tools like SQL, Excel Power Query (M-Code)/PowerPivot, and Power BI.

    Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity, vigilantly monitoring inbound data and swiftly resolving any discrepancies.
    Proactively work to reduce the mean-time-to-repair for the overall OT support function.
    Document and manage technical issues, bugs, and system enhancements thoroughly, ensuring comprehensive follow-ups and resolution through to implementation.
    Prioritize and manage tasks effectively, aligning with operational needs and predefined priorities.

    Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, actively participating in weekly meetings to review progress and set priorities.

    Standardize system use and configuration enterprise-wide, creating and disseminating end-user documentation and training materials.
    Lead by example in promoting and adhering to Conuma's strong focus on safety.
    Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and new releases in collaboration with Operations and other stakeholders.
    Manage user access to systems and reporting tools effectively.
    Other duties and tasks as assigned.

    Education, Experience & Qualifications

    A University degree in IT/Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
    Previous mining experience or a Mining Engineering degree is preferred.

    A minimum of 2 years of experience in roles such as System Administrator, Dispatch Engineer/Supervisor, System Analyst, Senior Dispatcher, Network Administrator, or Communications System Specialist, specifically with mining technology systems (e.g., Wenco, Minestar, CAT Terrain, Modular).

    In-depth knowledge and experience with the installation, configuration, and management of mobile equipment and fleet management system hardware/software.
    Proficient understanding of network-based, high-precision GPS hardware and systems (e.g., Trimble, Novatel).
    Proficiency in office applications (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

    Prior experience with Rajant Wireless networks and working in an ERP environment (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) and Asset Management Systems is highly desirable.

    Technical Competencies & Skills

    Valid Driver's License.
    Must be able to work 8-hour day and night shifts; on a 5x2 rotation.
    Fluent communication in English, with exceptional oral and written skills.

    Specifically for the Operations Technology Analyst role, we offer an annual base salary range of $90, $105,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses.

    These bonuses include monthly efficiency bonuses linked to safety and production, quarterly retention bonuses, and a performance bonus tailored to reward your contributions.

    Employee Transportation

    This role is based in our Tumbler Ridge Office, however, regular travel to Conuma's Mine Site locations near Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd will be required.
