We are seeking a Business Development manager to lead strategic 'banking as a service' sales with fintech and other technology companies.

You will develop compelling and bleeding-edge solutions for companies who want to embed financial services into their offerings that could span lending, deposits, and money movement capabilities.

You will collaborate with our world-leading product, technology, risk, legal and compliance partners as you work with our customers to solve their challenges.

About the work environment:


Peoples Group offers a flexible work environment with a combination of in-office and remote from-home work options for our employees.

Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start & end times.


About you / qualifications:


  • At least five years of sales experience in technology or banking industries
  • Postsecondary education in a relevant field
  • Ability to establish and cultivate relationships, credibility, and trust with individuals at all levels internally and externally
  • Ability to acquire new clients and grow existing clients by crossselling
  • Resultsdriven mentality, displaying a sense of urgency and actively pursuing solutions and opportunities

About the day-to-day:


  • Acquire and manage new clients while growing offering for existing clients
  • Liaise with internal departments and advocate for clients' interests internally
  • Comfortable meeting with clients by phone, web conferencing, and in person
  • Experience interacting and presenting to all levels within an organization
  • Manage clients' expectations professionally and ensure that their issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently
  • Escalate critical issues with appropriate management for resolution
  • Responsible for managing and negotiating agreements, including pricing, for all assigned clients
  • Identify opportunities within client portfolios and propose new products and services to enhance performance
  • Limited travel within North America, target less than 10% of the year
